If you were involved in an accident with a rented car, the first thing you must do is to contact and inform the car rental company.
Then, it is necessary to present to the company representatives the amicable finding or the statement issued by the Traffic/Local Police attesting to the conditions of the accident and the parties involved. Otherwise, you will be required to pay an amount between 200 and 500 euros, depending on the damage to the car and its value.
